For this project, we were asked to choose an architect & from the chosen architect, we needed to identify five architectural building materials and two structural building materials based on the building we had chosen. We are to talk about the use of each material and also explain the installation of one of the materials. The compilation of the findings was to be nicely composed in two A3 papers along with a clear conclusion. The building I had chosen was The Darling Exchange by Kengo Kuma.

Doing this project I was able to look at a building way more that it's physical outer value. I was able to understand and see the materials used in constucting a building in more depth. I understood how a material used in building plays a very important role in how the building is constucted but also the aesthetic value of the building.
